As a resource for activists, lawyers, and social scientists, The Prejudice Institute is devoted to policy research and education on all dimensions of prejudice, discrimination, and ethnoviolence and seeks to improve intergroup relations and public policy.
Our Mission Statement
1. To promote better understanding of the causes and effects of prejudice, intergroup conflict, and violence.
2. To conduct policy research which will enhance the understanding of prejudice, conflict, and ethnoviolence, and stimulate a public response.
3. To provide educational opportunities through conferences, workshops, and training programs, as well as through our own publications.
4. To provide technical assistance to communities and institutions in responding to conflict and violence.
5. To serve as a public news media resource center collecting information and materials on prejudice, conflict, and violence.
